Seattle Children's Plant Sale - April 20-22nd

This week Seattle Children's Hospital is having their 88th annual plant sale. Stop by for perennials, annuals, shrubs and trees. Saturday includes a Stammcake Breakfast with proceeds benefiting the Dr. Stanley Stamm Summer Camp Guild. 

While you are in the neighborhood, stop by and support Children's.

Interbay P-Patch Dahlia Tuber Sale

Come out and support a fellow P-Patch and bring some Dahlia beauty to your patch or garden. Interbay P-Patch's Dahlia Sale is coming up.

Dates: Saturday, April 28th 10:00-2:00 pm

              Saturday, May 5th 10:00-2:00 pm

Location: Interbay P-Patch 2501 15th Avenue W (just south of Interbay Golf Course and the Ballard Bridge)

Details: Tubers will sell for $2 each or 3 for $5.

Free Compost Giveaway - April 21st

Interbay Whole Foods Market has partnered with Cedar Grove to give away FREE compost.

Date: Saturday April 21st, 10:00-3:00pm.

Details: You must bring your own containers. You can collect the equivalent of two 5 gallon buckets of compost for free.

 

Plant & Rummage Sale - April 19-21

University Congregational United Church of Christ is having a Plant & Rummage Sale this coming week.

Location: 4515 16th Avenue NE, Seattle

Times: 

    Preview Sale - Thursday April 19th, 7:00-9:00pm ($5 donation for preview, open to all)

    Friday April 20th - 9:30am - 6:00 pm (no charge)

    Saturday April 21st - 9:30 - 1:00 pm (no charge)

Parking: Church lot on 15th Ave NE & 16 Ave NE

Plants include perennials, small shrubs, fuchsia/geranium starts and dahlia tubers. Lots of rummage sale items and homemade baked goods.

Proceeds benefit local charities including Hunger Outreach, University Churches Emergency Furn, three early childhood centers and many others.
