My Weather Channel app says it will be sunny and 64 degrees Saturday April 12th. The path project may well be finished by then so come and inspect the result (that should be worth another half hour each for the volunteer hours pledged. We will be joined by a group of 12-15 from Seattle Works so we should be able to really jump start our spring work. The water is now on and the keys are in a box in the tool shed. Feel free to take a few for your nearby tool box, better yet donate a key ring so they won’t get lost. Work to be done:
- Distribute garden hoses to the faucet stands
- Weed the food bank plots and then distribute compost to them
- Lower the level of paths just as they enter the gravel path
- Tweek the gravel path edges as needed
- Clean out unused compost bins
- And as always, weed and chip interior paths as needed
Marty DeLong and I will be your crew chiefs. Treats will be brought by Adele Merati, others?
See you there, Norma Patterson, site coordinator
