ANNUAL P-PATCH MEETING

Hello Magnuson P-Patch gardeners!

It is almost time for our ANNUAL P-PATCH MEETING,  MARCH 13, 2014, 7:00 PM IN THE MATHEWS BEACH ROOM IN THE BRIG.  Please save the date.

The meeting will include necessary Magnuson P-Patch organizational information, gardening information, news of upcoming projects and much more.  The meeting will end with break-out groups with your POD leader and a drawing for door prizes.

Magnuson P-Patch wins Small & Simple grant

Magnuson P-Patch is a winner of a Small & Simple grant for $20,745 to "Rehabilitate 10 year old ADA Access Paths" and is now authorized to proceed with the project as of February 7, 2014.  There is lots of competition for these grants so we are delighted to have won.  To get the money however, many volunteer matching hours, about 885, have been pledged to prepare the paths for new gravel and at least three bids from landscapers to do the work need to be obtained.  Work will begin this spring.
